As the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 has been at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts, our hope is that all of you, regardless of where you are located, are staying healthy and safe.
Now that we have begun 2021, COVID-19 is still making an impact on our industry. Zebra, Honeywell, as well as the rest of our vendor base, continue to see significant shortages of components, parts, raw materials, and manufacturing capacity, which has resulted in, overall increased lead times for finished products.
With that being said, now is a good time to think about reordering labels and ribbons and placing orders as early as possible. Our typical 10-12 day turnaround time for custom label production has been impacted. Now is the time to plan for potentially longer lead times on future custom label orders, possible delays on stocked labels.
Transportation firms also continue to have capacity issues related to trucks and drivers. This is adding to the delay in getting products delivered in our normal turn around times.
While we are doing everything possible to mitigate these delays and shortages, we aim to meet your needs even in these challenging times and keep you informed about any changes in the current market status.
