Zebra’s Aurora Focus™ Software

Aurora software on computer screen

Zebra lineup of fixed-industrial scanners and cameras utilize a software called Aurora Focus™. This non licensable software is a plug and play for the FS scanners and VS cameras and is downloaded from the internet. It is easy to use with dropdown, drag and drop, and flow chart. With just a little training, you can master the use of Aurora Focus™.

Matthew details some of the application capabilities of Aurora FocusTM:

    • Barcode reading and verification

    • Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

    • Presence/absence vision inspection

    • Quality checking and scannability

    • Object location

    • Industry Leading Deep Learning OCR

OCR and 1D/2D Barcoding Scanning and Verification

Through Zebra and Imprint, you can easily start migrating into fixed-industrial scanning. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) has gained a lot of traction in the barcoding industry as it can easily and quickly read various forms of text, logos, or notifications on labels, stamps, and even laser etching on parts.

Matthew highlights other capabilities of fixed-industrial scanning with OCR and barcodes:

      • Deep learning OCR
      • Top-of-can reading OCR
      • Label verification
      • Case verification
      • Tray verification
      • Pallet verification

Packing Benches
